This method actually is based on your own mother tongue. Learning a second language is hard, but if you constantly refer it back to your own language it will help you and it get easier.

This is a theory that is based on speech and not so much on writing. Role-playing, memorization and structure drilling are very important her.

The Silent Way

Here they try to develop the independence of a student to solve language problems and the learn how to do it with more, they learn how to cooperate to solve language problem. The teacher has to be silent.

This method is based on relaxation. Students would learn vocabulary, readings, role-plays and drama with music in the background (classical music). They would also get nice comfortable seats to sit on. This way you would learn more.
